Discover one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. Learn about its rich history, see what is considered the city's most beautiful block, marvel at the gorgeous architecture, and witness where America's most famous writers/actors lived.
We'll begin our tour in Stuyvesant Square Park, where we'll bask in the fascinating history of the area. We'll observe quintessential NYC architecture as we walk to the iconic St. George's Episcopal Church and Irving Place.
Join me as we take in Union Square, what used to be NY's Theater District/Fashion Row, and is now home to our largest farmers market. We'll make our way through Gramercy Park and walk along NYC's prettiest street, Block Beautiful. We will see the site of Max's Kansas City, the REAL birthplace of Punk Rock. Finally, we will end the tour at the city's oldest bar, Pete's Tavern. Grab a drink and experience the tavern as author O. Henry did in the late 1800s!
By the end of the tour, you'll walk away feeling more in the know than a New Yorker!
I am happy to adjust the itinerary to best fit your specific interests.
